Director's Comments

Burnley Garrick Club presented `Butterflies Are Free" over 20 years ago at the Old Hammerton Street Theatre with Howard Raw and the late Sheila Town in the main roles and Greta Wilkinson directing.

Rehearsals for this production started in September and the director and cast have worked hard to bring you a play that will touch and warm your heart on these cold November nights.

Susannah Cooper makes her debut with the Garrick and Adrian Hartley plays his biggest role to date with us. Ably supported by two experienced players, Kathleen Riley and John Cummings. We hope you enjoy this our last play of the 1900s.

Big Best wishes to all our Members, Patrons, Helpers and Friends for Christmas and this time a special New year - see you in 2000!
