September Tide was originally presented in London with Gertrude Lawrence playing Stella in 1948. After revelations that the play followed closely an event in Daphne du Maurier's life the play was revised by Martin Raiment and showed in London in 1993 with Susannah York as Stella.

We are pleased to welcome Barbara Simpson on her first solo production for Burnley Garrick Club. Also a welcome return to Penny Walker after too long an absence. Sarah Harris plays her first part for us since Anne Frank and Glyn Williams makes his debut.
